In order to meet with a college rep, you must register for the visit through your Naviance account and notify your teacher at least one day before the visit. You may show your teacher your iPad with the registration on Naviance as your pass. Remember, you are responsible for any work you miss during your visit with the college rep.

Any interested students, staff and parents are cordially invited to go Christmas Caroling at Catholic Eldercare this afternoon. Meet in the Lasallian Ministry office at 4:15pm to catch a shuttle bus at 4:30pm. Students can enjoy dinner and a movie in the Lasallian Ministry office after caroling. The evening should wrap up by 7:30pm. Please e-mail Ms. Briars to sign up or stop by the Lasallian Ministry office.

The DeLaSalle Parent Association meets today. Parents are invited to join students and staff during Christmas caroling at Catholic Eldercare in Northeast Minneapolis. The Parent Association will then meet back at DeLaSalle in the Rothweiler Room after caroling for pizza and to wrap Christmas gifts that students recently bought for families spiritually adopted by DeLaSalle.

We invite the DeLaSalle community to join us for our Christmas Concert on Wednesday at 7:00pm in the Florance Center. Students in the Bel Canto and A Cappella Choirs, Chamber Orchestra, Concert Band, and Symphonic Band will perform. As we anticipate a large turnout for this year’s concert, we encourage you to consider parking in the parking ramp at the corner of 2nd Avenue SE and 2nd Street SE. DeLaSalle will operate a shuttle for those who park in the overflow parking ramp. Please check our Directions & Parking webpage for more information.

On Thursday, we will gather immediately following first period for our annual Christmas Liturgy and program in the Florance Center.  Please move quickly and quietly with your first period class.  Students that are participating as readers in the liturgy should arrive to the Florance Center by 8:00am for practice and check in. Band and orchestra students should be dismissed at 8:50am to prepare for prayer.

All boys interested in playing lacrosse this year should come to an informational meeting tomorrow at 3:30pm, where you can meet the new coach. See the Student Activities office with any questions.

The Tabletop Games club meets  Wednesday after school. Come learn some games to ask Santa for and to play at your family gatherings over Christmas break.  We will meet in B307 at 3:15pm for about an hour.  See Mr. Jung or Mr. Newman with questions.

Looking to relax and have some fun right before cramming for finals? Then come play some chess with all your friends! Chess Club will meet again Thursday after school until 5:00pm in A107. Players of all skill levels are welcome, and if you just have to time to stop by and play one quick game, that’s fine. See Ms. Kocourek or Anders Jenson with any questions.

The Christmas Break is a great time to connect with an agency and complete some of your Christian Service Hours. Seniors, don’t forget that all of your hours and paper are due by January 22 – no exceptions.  You can find Christian Service information, forms and agency ideas on the DeLaSalle website. Contact Mr. CJ Hallman in the Lasallian Ministry office if you have any questions or concerns.
