Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

Send your Spirit and consecrate every one of us with its anointing, so that the Jubilee of Mercy may be a year of grace from the Lord, and your Church, with renewed enthusiasm, may bring good news to the poor, proclaim liberty to captives and the oppressed, and restore sight to the blind. Amen

All college visits take place in the Guidance office, unless otherwise noted. In order to meet with a college rep, you must register for the visit through your Naviance account and notify your teacher at least one day before the visit. You may show your teacher your iPad with the registration on Naviance as your pass. Remember, you are responsible for any work you miss during your visit with the college rep.

The DeLaSalle Cafe is exploring some new ideas for what it offers during lunch. We know you have an opinion and we want to hear it. Please take a minute to fill out this short survey.

The next #LMLunchtalks session is today during lunch in A219 (formerly the Robert Casanova Room). This week’s topic is bullying and will be conducted in small groups.  Please plan to bring your lunch promptly.  All students and staff are welcome.

Senior boys – sign up to participate in the 12 Days of Christmas. Come to the Lasallian Ministry office to sign up by tomorrow at 3:00pm. The 12 Days of Christmas will be performed next Thursday during our Christmas liturgy.

Any interested students, staff and parents are cordially invited to go Christmas Caroling at Catholic Eldercare on Monday from 4:15-5:15pm. When we return, we will have dinner and a movie in the Lasallian Ministry office. Everything should be over by 7:30pm. Please e-mail Ms. Briars to sign up or stop by the Lasallian Ministry office. The Parent Association is joining us for this event but will have a separate gathering after caroling in the Rothweiler Room.

The first MACRs meeting will be after school today from 3:15-4:00pm in Mr. Zavitz’s room, B205.

The Tabletop Games club will meet today AND again next Wednesday. Come learn some games to ask Santa for and to play at your family gatherings over Christmas break.  We will meet in B307 at 3:15 for about an hour.  See Mr. Jung or Mr. Newman with questions.

Come and celebrate Computer Science Week and learn how to program in Android or Python. We meet in B201 from 3:00-4:30pm. Learn how to make a mobile app using MIT App builder. See Mr Pearson if you have any questions.

Girls-Do you want to be involved with the Technovation Challenge? Create an app to address a community problem or issue. Here is the website. See Mr Pearson or Ms Roggow if you are interested and sign up!

Lasallian Ministry gathers tomorrow at 7:30am in A219 (former Robert Casanova Room). We will be making Christmas Cards for elderly shut-ins, the yearly Christmas tradition of musical chairs, and other exciting activities.  Please bring a store bought snack to share (e.g. Christmas cookies, fruit, candy, crackers, donuts, whatever you wish)  All are welcome.

Game day is happening again tomorrow in the Lasallian Ministry office during all lunches.  All are welcome.

Missing out on your chess fix now that Chess Time is gone? Come play some real chess instead! Chess Club will be meeting again tomorrow after school until 5:00pm in A107. Players of all skill levels are welcome, and if you just have to time to stop by and play one quick game that’s fine. See Ms. Kocourek or Anders Jenson with any questions.

Athletic trainer Cindy Schlafmann will hold office hours at DeLaSalle tomorrow from 4:00-9:00pm. Students who need athletic training assistance may visit Ms. Schlafmann in the athletic training area between the Main and LL Gray Gyms.

Ordering a yearbook is easier than texting with your parents…Have you ordered your yearbook yet? If not you better get your order in soon before the price goes up. Yearbooks are $48 until December 31st, starting January 1st yearbooks will be $55.  You can order online or on campus in the Main Office or the LTC.
