Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

God, we praise and thank You for all of our blessings, which compel us to reach out to those with less, to be of service to any in need, to keep company with the unwelcome, to seek peace, and make friends of our enemies. Amen

Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us. Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

Students not yet updated to iOS 9 must do so before returning from Thanksgiving break. Students are increasingly experiencing issues with apps functioning properly on iOS 8. If your iPad is still running iOS 8 on Monday, November 30, 2015, the technology team will update it for you. This will delete all data on your device.

Due to recent changes in the application, Skype will no longer be allowed on student devices starting Monday, November 30 (first day back from Thanksgiving break). Any student with Skype on their iPad will receive the same restrictions as a student found with any other non-approved texting or photo sharing application. Please make sure you remove the Skype app prior to coming to school on Monday.

We gather as a community after 1st period today for our Thanksgiving Prayer Service. Come prepared to pray in Thanksgiving for all of the gifts God has bestowed on us.

Join your student’s college counseling team today at 8:15am in the Guidance and College Advising office, B104 for “Navigating Naviance – Your Student’s Online Tool for Managing the College Search.” All are welcome. If you have conflicts in the morning, come to the  encore presentation January 26 from 6:45-7:45pm.

We wish you a blessed, happy, and relaxing Thanksgiving break. Remember, there is no school tomorrow, Thursday, or Friday.

There will be a 2-hour late start on Monday, November 30. Classes will start at 10:30am as faculty and staff continue a two-year professional development program related to racial equity and social justice teachings of the Catholic Church. Morning transportation routes on Nov. 30 will also run two hours later than usual. And, remember, there is no breakfast served in the DeLaSalle Cafe on late start days.

Students will meet with academic mentors after the Thanksgiving break. Mentor meetings are scheduled after 1st hour on Wednesday, Dec. 2. Please bring homework or other materials to work on quietly when you are not meeting individually with your mentor.

Auditions start Monday for the musical, one act, and 9th grade play. Auditions are scheduled:
