We gather as a community after 1st period tomorrow for our Thanksgiving Prayer Service. Come prepared to pray in Thanksgiving for all of the gifts God has bestowed on us.

We wish you a blessed, happy, and relaxing Thanksgiving break. Remember, there is no school Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday this week.

There will be a 2-hour late start on Monday, November 30. Classes will start at 10:30am as faculty and staff continue a two-year professional development program related to racial equity and social justice teachings of the Catholic Church. Morning transportation routes on Nov. 30 will also run two hours later than usual. And, remember, there is no breakfast served in the DeLaSalle Cafe on late start days.

Join your student’s college counseling team tomorrow at 8:15am in the Guidance and College Advising office, B104 for “Navigating Naviance – Your Student’s Online Tool for Managing the College Search.” All are welcome. If you have conflicts in the morning, come to the  encore presentation January 26 from 6:45-7:45pm.

You can join a discussion about racial and social justice tonight at Southwest High School. The “What’s Good?” event starts at 6:00pm in the Black Box Theater. Tickets cost $5. The show features spoken word by students and other speakers including local rapper Brother Ali.
