Ninth grade students take the Iowa Test of Educational Development (students will NOT complete the Analysis of Social Studies materials, Analysis of Science materials, spelling, and Sources of Information sections). Tenth grade students take the PLAN test; and,11th grade students take the PSAT.
Please remember to get a good night’s rest tonight and to eat breakfast tomorrow.
This is an early release day; tests are scheduled 8:30am-12:00pm, and busses will leave DeLaSalle to take students home at 12:20pm.
All students should update their iPad to the iOS 9 operating software during the October 15-18 school break. The update must be completed before school begins on Monday, October 19.
This update must be done at home as it cannot be performed at school and requires at least 1.1GB of storage. If your iPad does not have at least 1.1GB of space, you must delete personal apps first. If you still need storage after your personal apps are deleted, please contact email@example.com or stop by the LTC and they will instruct you on the next step. Before you update, make sure your device is backed up to your iCloud. To watch videos on how to update your device or back it up to iCloud, please visit the Student Technology Help page on Canvas.
As students can benefit by hearing commendations and recommendations from teachers, we strongly suggest students attend conferences with their parents and participate in these conversations. You do not need an appointment to hold a conference with a teacher. Instead, you can meet with your child’s teachers at your own pace and whenever they are available.
Learn more on the conferences webpage.
The ENERGY STAR benchmark signifies that DeLaSalle’s facility and sustainability practices are cost effective and protect the environment. The same label often appears on home appliances, including laundry machines, dishwashers, and refrigerators.
Wristbands will be sold for $1 during lunches next Monday and Tuesday and for $2 on Wednesday morning. You MUST wear this wristband in order to come to school out of uniform. Please see the guidelines for out of uniform day in the student handbook.
