All students should update their iPad to the iOS 9 operating software during the October 15-18 school break. The update must be completed before school begins on Monday, October 19.
This update must be done at home as it cannot be performed at school and requires at least 1.1GB of storage. If your iPad does not have at least 1.1GB of space, you must delete personal apps first. If you still need storage after your personal apps are deleted, please contact support@delasalle.com or stop by the LTC and they will instruct you on the next step. Before you update, make sure your device is backed up to your iCloud. To watch videos on how to update your device or back it up to iCloud, please visit the Student Technology Help page on Canvas.
As students can benefit by hearing commendations and recommendations from teachers, we strongly suggest students attend conferences with their parents and participate in these conversations. You do not need an appointment to hold a conference with a teacher. Instead, you can meet with your child’s teachers at your own pace and whenever they are available.
Learn more on the conferences webpage.
