Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

God, we pray that, as Pope Francis has reminded us, we may be called to live a life of service to others. Amen

Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us. Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

Students, you will watch as Pope Francis makes history when he speaks to a joint session of Congress tomorrow morning. Report to first hour. At 8:45am, you will be dismissed to watch the speech. Ninth and 12th graders will report to the Main Gym. Tenth and 11th graders will report to the Florance Center.

Even though we will be gathering in the gym and Florance Center this is NOT a Pepfest. Quiet, respectful behavior is required by all students so each individual can gather the information to share in class discussions.

The Theology and Social Studies departments will help prepare you with questions to reflect upon as you watch Pope Francis. You will have time to share your thoughts throughout the day in your Theology and/or Social Studies classes.

Lasallian Ministry will sponsor a service fair during lunches today. Several service agencies will be available at booths in the hallway by the Florance Center and /Albers Atrium to share information on how you can get involved. Please make the most of this great opportunity.

Lasallian Ministry meets again tomorrow from 7:30-8:20am in the Robert Casanova Room. All are welcome to participate. Breakfast snacks will be provided. Bring a friend.
