All DeLaSalle parents are invited to actively participate in the DeLaSalle Parent Association.  By virtue of your enrolling your child at De, you are already a member of the Association, but you may be wondering how you can better connect with other parents for the benefit of the school and all students.

The Parent Association meets on the second Monday of every month throughout the school year.  The first meeting of the year is Monday, September 14, from 6:30-8:00 pm, in the Library.

  • All meetings will begin with some social time, so that parents can meet other parents,
  • Each month, there’s an “insider’s report” on school news, projects and planning by the staff liaison to the Association, Mike O’Keefe.
  • At each meeting, there will be a topic of interest that will hopefully benefit the parents of DeLaSalle.

A special invitation is extended to all parents who are new to DeLaSalle to join us on the 14th.  The treats will be good.  The conversation will be better.  Questions are anticipated.  New ideas are always welcome.

The Association sponsors a number of activities each year that benefit the school, as well as a series of speakers at each of the monthly Association meetings.  We will share more details about the year’s activities and topics on the 14th.

Parent Association co-chairs for 2015-16 are LuAnn Mishler, parent of Sam `18 and Emma `19, and Jackie Schluter-Johnson, parent of Otto `17 and Gabbie `19.  The staff liaison is Mike O’Keefe, who also happens to be the parent of three De alums.  If you have any questions about the meeting on the 14th or the Association, please contact Mike at  We hope to see you on the 14th!
