Friday, May 29, 2015 – Last Day of School

Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

God, like You, may we find goodness in everything we have done this year. Bless our summer, that we be renewed in mind and body and challenged for the next years’ work. Amen

Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us. Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

The last two final exams of the year are in 8th period (8:40-9:40) and 6th period (9:50-10:50). You do not need to attend if you have a study hall 8th hour or lunch 6th hour. Remember, you must be dressed in uniform. Buses today leave at 12:00pm.

All 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students are required to go through the end of the year iPad checkout process today after school or during Period 6 (if that is your lunch) even if you are purchasing their iPads. Students must allow at least 30 minutes for the iPad return process. Students should report to the following location depending on which grade they are in to return the iPad:

  • Freshman – Main Gym
  • Sophomores – LL Gray Gym
  • Juniors – Florance Center

Students Purchasing Their Device

Students who are purchasing their device must bring their device to the checkout process and go through the required steps. Until this happens, their device will not be taken out of the Mobile Device Management and still be under DeLaSalle’s control.

Students Not Purchasing Their Device

Students who are not purchasing their device must turn in their school issued iPad with the school issued iPad case, power adapter, and power/sync cable. The iPad Return Checklist must be completed, signed by a parent/guardian, and turned in with the iPad on Friday, May 29. It is important to note that you will be charged the deductible/repair cost for broken devices as well as replacement cost for any missing items. Families that chose the Deposit Protection Plan will be charged for all damages to the iPad and accessories not covered under warranty.

In summary, bring the following on Friday, May 29.

If you are registered for an AP or honors course next year, you may have some required work to do over the summer. You can find out what work may be required by clicking here to see our “Summer Coursework” webpage.

If you participated in an activity this year, please stop by the table outside the Student Activities office after finals today or tomorrow to pick up any awards or letters you may have received.

Locker room lockers need to be cleaned out by today. Locks left on lockers will be removed and any items left in the locker room after Friday will be donated. Thank you.

Tell us what you think….We invite students and parents who participated in an activity
this spring to complete this program evaluation and share your feedback about your activity experience. Your input will help us improve experiences for future participants.
