The field trip to PINZ that had been scheduled for tonight has been CANCELED due to low student interest. If you already signed up and paid for the event, please see Ms. Weeks to get your money back. Student Council may look at offering PINZ again next year.

Juniors and seniors – come with a date or your group of friends! Tickets for the April 25 Junior-Senior Prom go on sale today in the Main Office. Tickets cost $60 if you purchase them before April 17 or $70 after April 17. Ticket sales close on April 22 at 4:00pm. Click here for more information.

FAME “Fine Arts Music English” submissions are due TODAY. Drop your submission off with Ms. Longman or Ms. Beckman.  Please attach a submission form that will be available outside of Ms. Longman’s and Ms. Lundstrum’s classroom and Ms. Beckman’s office in the LTC.

The Urban Adventure Club will have its first excursion to Zero Gravity Trampoline Park on Thursday, April 16. We will leave DeLaSalle at 3:30 pm and return at 6:00 pm. Each student will have to pay $16 for an hour and half of jumping. If you are 18, you can sign your own waiver. If you are under 18, a parent will have to fill it out for you. Here is the waiver: The waiver MUST be filled out online in order to jump. To help us plan for how many are going, please sign up here.

Ultimate frisbee has been postponed to next week. We will meet outside the Student Activities office at 3:20pm. Come ready to play!

Fishing Club is coming to DeLaSalle. Meet in the Student Activities office during lunches on Thursday if you are interested!

Students may now register for the next driver’s education class, which will be taught by Ray Kroll ‘60 at DeLaSalle June 1-5, 8-12. Click here to download a registration form. You may return completed registration forms to the Administration Office. Registration forms are accepted until the class is filled. Classroom instruction costs $110 and behind-the-wheel instruction costs $330; students who register for both the class and behind-the-wheel instruction will pay $399.

Please be reminded that there is a mandatory meeting on Tuesday from 8:45-10:15am in the Main Gym. Plan to arrange transportation early that day as school buses will not run at their normal time due to the 2-hour late start.

Every year DeLaSalle is dedicated to utilizing Mixed Blood Theater to bring to life multicultural topics in history.  This year we will gather as a school community on Wednesday between 1st and 2nd period for their professional performance of Hijab Tube.  This is a story of a young Muslim woman who takes her questions about wearing a hijab to YouTube.  This program offers a unique perspective on Islam in 21st Century America.

The Parent Association meets Monday from 6:30-8:00pm in the Robert Casanova Room. Dr. Jef Maynard, who has worked in adolescent and children’s mental health for 12 years, joins us for a conversation about adolescent mental health. His daughter, Sachi, is a sophomore at De.
