Islanders are going back to PINZ! Back by popular demand, Student Council has planned another field trip to PINZ for a fun night of bowling, laser tag, and arcade games. Join your classmates and friends this Friday. Tickets cost $10 and you can buy one during lunches today through Friday. The ticket includes admission, unlimited bowling, one game of laser tag. Students, bring extra money if you want to play any arcade games or buy food.

If you buy a ticket to PINZ, you have to ride a bus to and from DeLaSalle. Students with PINZ tickets should plan to be at De on Friday by 6:00pm for the bus that leaves at 6:15pm. The bus returns at 10:30pm; students should plan to be picked up at that time.

Juniors and seniors – come with a date or your group of friends! Tickets for the April 25 Junior-Senior Prom go on sale today in the Main Office. Tickets cost $60 if you purchase them before April 17 or $70 after April 17. Ticket sales close on April 22 at 4:00pm. Click here for more information.

EXTENDED TIME! Last chance today for Juniors to register for an optional six-week class that will help prepare them for the June 13 ACT exam. The ACT Ready class builds test-taking skills through study guides and actual ACT tests. On average, students who complete all assignments increase their ACT scores by 3 to 5 composite points, translating to an overall 20% to 25% improvement in their national percentile rankings. Completed registration forms, along with the $150 registration fee, are due to Mrs. McAdams in the Guidance office no later than April 8. Please note that classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. See Mrs. McAdams with any questions.

Lasallian Ministry WILL NOT meet this week. But you are welcome to come to the Lasallian Ministry office during lunches for Game Day on Thursday.

Please come out and support your DeLaSalle ONYX Steppers this Thursday at 7:00pm in the Florance Center as you Enter the ONYX in this Matrix themed performance of the year!! You don’t want to miss it!! Doors open for guests at 6:30pm.

FAME “Fine Arts Music English” submissions are due this Friday. Drop your submission off with Ms. Longman or Ms. Beckman.  Please attach a submission form that will be available outside of Ms. Longman’s and Ms. Lundstrum’s classroom and Ms. Beckman’s office in the LTC.

Students may now register for the next driver’s education class, which will be taught by Ray Kroll ‘60 at DeLaSalle June 1-5, 8-12. Click here to download a registration form. You may return completed registration forms to the Administration Office. Registration forms are accepted until the class is filled. Classroom instruction costs $110 and behind-the-wheel instruction costs $330; students who register for both the class and behind-the-wheel instruction will pay $399.

Ultimate frisbee has been postponed to next week. We will meet outside the Student Activities office at 3:20pm. Come ready to play!

Fishing Club is coming to DeLaSalle. Meet in the Student Activities office during lunches on Thursday if you are interested!

Please be reminded that there is a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, April 14 from 8:45-10:15am in the Main Gym. Plan to arrange transportation early that day as school buses will not run at their normal time due to the 2-hour late start.

The Parent Association meets Monday from 6:30-8:00pm in the Robert Casanova Room. Dr. Jef Maynard, who has worked in adolescent and children’s mental health for 12 years, joins us for a conversation about adolescent mental health. His daughter, Sachi, is a sophomore at De.
