Mr. Chas Lemon, a 2009 alum of DeLaSalle, starts today as the new Assistant Dean of Students. He will work in the Main Office answering phones, monitoring attendance, and assisting Ms. Weeks in supporting students.  Welcome, Mr. Lemon!

You are invited to DeLaSalle tonight as 11th graders show off their History Day projects. Projects can be displayed as documentaries, exhibits, dramatic performances, research papers and websites. The projects will be on display throughout the school building starting at 6:00pm.

History Day is an annual project in the 11th grade Social Studies curriculum that gives juniors an opportunity to “do” history by selecting and researching a topic of their choice around a national theme. This year’s theme – Leadership and Legacy in History.

Tomorrow, we gather as a school community after first period for our Ash Wednesday Mass.  This marks the beginning of the Lenten season, 40 days in preparation before the death and Resurrection of our savior, Jesus Christ and the Easter Season. Please be quiet and respectful as you gather for Mass. Thank you.

The long holiday weekend is a good time to review with your family the 2015-16 registration materials you received yesterday. Remember, your enrollment contract, along with a non-refundable $350 registration deposit, are due by Friday, February 27. You can learn more about registration here.

Science Club is baaack! Join Mr. Dirlam tomorrow at 7:45am in B316. All are welcome. Nitrated cellulose more than glows in the dark!

Lasallian Ministry meets Thursday from 7:30-8:20am in the Robert Casanova Room, all are welcome. Rebecca Erickson from the Sexual Violence Center in Minneapolis will be our guest presenter. The presentation will include information about the SVC as well as resources for community outreach and prevention.
