Five dozen of DeLaSalle’s best art and music students participated in the Tri-Metro Fine Arts Festival on Monday, February 2.
Islanders chosen to participate in the All Conference Honors Band, Choir, and Orchestra joined top music students from other Tri-Metro schools for clinics from two area college music professors – Dr. David Arnott from the College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University and Dr. Douglas Orzolek from the University of St. Thomas. The festival culminated with a free public concert at the Academy of Holy Angels.
Islander student artists chosen to participate in the festival met with other student artists for a series of workshops taught by professionals. They displayed their art the same evening.
