Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

God, please grant me the strength to handle the pressure during these final days of the semester. Amen

Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us. Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

The lunch menu for today is Chef’s Choice.

All three games on today’s activity calendar will be played in the Main Gym at DeLaSalle. Come support the girls’ basketball program as they host Eden Prairie:

  • 7:00pm: Girls’ varsity basketball vs. Eden Prairie

Some of the new apps and other technology uses the IOS 8 System, therefore DeLaSalle is requiring you to update your device to iOS 8 over Christmas break. Before you update, back up your documents using iCloud in settings and in your GoodReader app. You can find videos on how to update and back up your device on the Student Technology page in Canvas. This is a school wide requirement and will need to be completed before returning from break.

In order to update you must have at least 4.5GB of storage on your device. If you do not have 4.5GB you will need to delete some applications. Start by deleting personal apps and photos followed by school apps that you do not use. If you still need more room, delete iTunes U. When the update is complete you will be able to redownload the apps that were deleted. If you are still having issues with clearing enough space, please email support@delasalle.com.

Final exams are this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. You can find the exam schedule here. The Final Exams webpage also has information about what time buses will leave at the end of each day and where you should be if you have lunch or a study hall. Good luck to you on your finals!
Volunteer serving the afternoon at Sharing & Caring Hands tomorrow from 2:30-4:15pm. Please e-mail Ms. Barry if you are interested. Remember, school gets out at 12:00pm on Wednesday because of final exams.
Ms Beckman is putting together another service trip to Colorado Springs, CO. Students who go on the trip will receive 40 Christian Service hours. The focus of the trip will be working with organizations to help rebuild the Colorado National Parks that were destroyed by forest fires along with other service opportunities.

  • Trip Dates: Saturday, May 30-Sunday, June 7, 2015
  • Trip Cost: $350
  • Trip Application: Check the Source on Tuesday, January 20th for application details.

The Christmas Break is a great time to connect with an agency and complete some of your Christian Service Hours. Seniors, don’t forget that all of your Christian Service hours and paper are due by January 23, THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS. You can find more information, including forms and ideas about where to volunteer, on the Christian Service webpage.
