All college visits take place in the Guidance office, unless otherwise noted. Please get a pass from your teacher to meet with the college representative.

  • 11:00am-12:00pm: College of St. Benedict’s/St. John’s University

Thank you if you have already contributed something to our annual Christmas Basket project. If you have not yet donated, you have an opportunity to give through tomorrow. Ninth and 10th graders may donate in their Theology classes, 11th graders in their Social Studies classes, and 12th graders in their English classes. The money we raise will help buy Christmas gifts for families we have spiritually adopted through Sponsor-a-Family Minnesota and the Aliveness Project.
A reminder for those students who signed up to shop for our Christmas Basket project that we will meet in Albers Atrium right after school this Friday. The bus will depart at 3:15pm and should return by 5:30pm. If you did not sign up but would still like to come, please let Ms. Hodapp in Lasallian Ministry know.
There will be a uniform inspection this week. All students are expected to be in compliance with our school uniform policy, if not, students will be issued Minor Violations. Please take time to review the Student Parent Handbook, and see Ms. Weeks with any questions.
Students please be sure to carefully sort all food, trash, and dishes from your lunch tray when composting. We have seen dishes and silverware items being placed in the compost and recycling bins. Carefully sorting only takes a minute and has numerous benefits for our school and larger community! Thank you in advance for your awareness and support for all GREEN initiatives!
We will have mentor meetings after 1st period tomorrow. Please go to your assigned mentor location and bring materials for quiet study when you are not meeting with your mentor.
Auditions continue today for four shows. All of the directors will be at every audition.

Auditions for the musical “Babes in Arms” will be held today, tomorrow, and Wednesday. You must attend all three days to dance, sing, and read to complete a full audition. If called back, you may need to be present both Thursday and Friday.

If you wish to audition for the Ninth Grade Shorts, Kaleidoscope or The Cask of Amontillado, you only need to audition on Wednesday. If called back, you may need to be present Thursday.

Consider auditioning for all the shows. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket with this many chances to be on stage. All students interested are encouraged to audition.

Singing Auditions – Girls will be able to choose from the following songs for auditions: My Funny Valentine or Johnny One Note. Boys will be able to choose from the following songs for auditions: Put on a Happy Face or All I Need is the Girl. Copies of the sheet music are available upon request by emailing Mr. Buffington.

Maybe you’ve heard the choir singing in the Florance Center. Or heard the sounds of the band and orchestra as they practice their pieces. Come see your classmates perform in the Christmas Concert on Wednesday, December 10. The concert starts at 7:00pm in the Florance Center.

Final exams start in two weeks. Watch “The Source” later this week for the final exam schedule and other details. If you need to catch up on missing or late work, now is a good time to do so. Don’t forget, you can and should always reach out to your teacher if you need help.
