DeLaSalle students and families may now volunteer at on-campus sporting and school events through the Islander Foundation program. The money raised during these volunteer efforts can help offset tuition and other expenses. Any registered DeLaSalle student between the ages of 13-19 may sign up to volunteer an on-campus Islander Foundation event. There is no required advanced training for these “student volunteers.” Click here to register for an event or learn more about the Islander Foundation.
Student artists – submit your artwork for a Scholastic Art Award! This national contest includes art in the following categories: comic art, design, digital art, drawing, fashion, film, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. There is also also a portfolio competition for seniors.

Any student who is interested in having their artwork considered for the regional show should see Ms. Lundstrum in B109 as soon as possible. All entries are due by 3:30pm on Tuesday, December 2. Students chosen to represent DeLaSalle at the regional competition will be notified by Thursday, December 4.

All girls’ basketball players who did not take the impact test this fall will take it tomorrow at Northwestern Health Sciences University. A bus leaves DeLaSalle at 5:30pm and will return at approximately 8:30pm. Please plan on bringing something to eat as you will be able to eat prior to testing. You can also bring your homework along and study. See your basketball coach if you have questions.
