All college visits take place in the Guidance office, unless otherwise noted. Please get a pass from your teacher to meet with the college representative.

Classes started two hours late today so teachers could work on academic department goals.
Any interested students are welcome to a continued conversation from Mykee Fowlin’s presentation last Friday. This informal conversation will be held in the Robert Casanova Room TODAY from 9:30-10:20am. Please let Ms. Hodapp or Mr. Hallman know that you are coming so we can plan accordingly.

The Game Day in Lasallian Ministry that had been planned for today will be canceled due to the shortened schedule. Plan to come next Thursday, November 13 during all lunches.
Join the Speech team! Auditions are today and tomorrow at 3:15pm in Room B209 – (sign up for an audition on the sheet outside B209)
Today is the last day to sign up to ride a fan bus to tomorrow’s state football quarterfinal game against Cloquet at Chisago Lakes High School. You must sign up by 1:30pm if you want to ride the bus. Only DeLaSalle students, families, and alumni who sign up here may ride the bus. Fan buses will leave from the front of DeLaSalle tomorrow at 4:45pm.

Tomorrow is an Islander Spirit Day. Students may dress out of uniform as long as they wear black or gold clothing, Islander spirit wear, or Hawaiian themed clothing. Please follow the out of uniform guidelines found in the Student-Parent Handbook.

Tickets for the game cost $9 for adults and $6 for students and you may buy one before school, during lunches, or after school today and tomorrow. Ticket sales before school started at 9:30am today because of the 2-hour late start. Ticket sales before school Friday will start at 8:00am. State tournament t-shirts will be on sale for $10; buy a t-shirt when you buy your game ticket.

Spring is almost here! If you are interested in playing softball this year and have not already done so, please make sure you fill out the interest form found on the DeLaSalle Softball webpage. It will only take about 2 minutes of your time. If you have any questions about the upcoming season, please email Mr. Heinecke.
Sophomores, juniors, and seniors who want to play boys’ basketball this year must fill out this short try-out sign up form by Thursday afternoon. Tryouts are Monday at 6:00am in the Main Gym. See Coach Thorson with any questions.
Ninth graders interested in boys’ basketball should show up for the first practice on Monday from 5-7pm in the Main Gym.
BeYOUtiful meets on Monday from 7:30-8:20am in the Lasallian Ministry office. All are welcome.
Join the DeLaSalle Parent Association as we welcome Social Studies teacher and Global Advantage Program coordinator Brad Casey to our next meeting on Monday, November 10 at 6:30pm in the Robert Casanova Room. Mr. Casey will speak about the international academic travel opportunities available for students in 2015, including trips to Brazil, Costa Rica, and Italy. This is one of the more popular topics. All are welcome for great conversation, treats, and the opportunity to grow and connect with other parents.
Our community will gather for Mass after 1st period on Tuesday to honor Veteran’s Day. Please come prepared for worship. We welcome celebrant Fr. Mike Byron, pastor of St. Paschal’s Catholic Church.
