Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

Lord, let me smile or say “Hello” to at least one other person each day. Amen

Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us. Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

Students will be recognized for their academic achievement on Wednesday during the annual Academic Awards Recognition. The ceremony starts at 6:30pm in the Florance Center. Students who earned a place on the Honor Roll during both semesters of the 2013-14 academic year will receive a pin. Students will earn an academic letter if they have earned a place on the Honor Roll for four semesters.
The DeLaSalle chapter of the National Honor Society will induct 81 new members during the Academic Awards Recognition on Wednesday. These students were selected based on their service to school, service to community, leadership, and personal character. Congratulations to the new members.
Wednesday is the last day for Islander parents and alumni to RSVP for the Veterans Day Mass on Tuesday, November 11. Please RSVP to Jessica Luckett. If you have a friend or family member who you would like included in a veterans honor wall, please send their name, a picture, their years and branch of service, and any other details to Ms. Luckett by Wednesday, too.
Please mark your calendars that classes on Thursday will start at 10:30am, two hours later than usual, so faculty can work on academic improvement goals. Buses will also run two hours later than scheduled.
Start your week with a meditation – and a manicure. Meet in Ms. Lyngen’s room, B206, at 7:30am.
There will not be Mass after school tomorrow. Fr. Brian has a schedule conflict and is unavailable. There will not be Mass next week because we are celebrating our Veterans Day Mass.
The due date for the Minnesota House Page Program is fast approaching. If you are interested, you must apply ASAP. See Mr. Marrin with any questions.
The Islander varsity football team earned the Section 6AAAA championship on Friday night with a win over Benilde-St. Margaret’s.
