Wednesday, October 29, 2014 – Diversity Week
Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.
Lord, bless today’s soccer game with fairness and a spirit of competition, keep the players free of injury, and may all hold their head high regardless of the outcome. Amen
Saint John Baptist de La Salle…pray for us. Live Jesus in our hearts…forever!

Morning transportation routes (Minneapolis & St. Paul/suburban) will operate on a normal schedule this morning for those students who plan to go to the game. Students are responsible for their own transportation home today.
Tomorrow
- 10:00-11:00am: College of St. John’s/St. Benedict
- 11:00am-12:00pm: Kalamazoo College
- 1:00-2:00pm: Concordia Moorhead
If you signed up to the ride the fan bus to the game, the buses leave at 8:45am from the front of DeLaSalle. Please check in and be on the bus by that time.
The fan buses will bring students back to DeLaSalle after the game. You are responsible for your own transportation home from school.
If you have a friend or family member who you would like included in a veterans honor wall, please send their name, a picture, their years and branch of service, and any other details to Ms. Luckett by Wednesday, November 5.
In the first part of the workshop, students will learn the essentials of Theatrical Viewpoints – Tempo, Duration, Kinesthetic Response, Repetition, Gesture, Architecture, Spatial Relationship and Topography – to develop a shared language that focuses on communication with your fellow artists. Students will then be introduced to Stations work – tools used to rapidly generate original content while eliminating the internal edit buttons that inhibit creativity. Using their new creation skills students will compose and present original pieces of theatre for their workshop classmates. A feedback session will follow.
This will be a fun, active workshop where you’ll learn to use your mind and body like an instrument of creation. Bring a water bottle and come dressed to move (sweats, gym clothes)
Workshop hosted by Matthew Glover and Danielle Siver. Please RSVP to Mr. Buffington if you plan to attend.
A reminder that everyone, including students, must pay at section playoffs.
