Need help with a college application? Come to the Guidance office for October Madness on Fridays in October (Oct. 3, 10, 24, and 31). Counselors will be available from 3:00-5:00pm to help you with your application or answer questions. Light snacks provided.
All juniors will go to the National College Fair on Tuesday during periods 1-3. Admission counselors from 300 plus colleges and universities will represent their schools. This is a great opportunity for you to research colleges and general college planning as many colleges are represented. Click here to find which schools will be present at the college fair.

There will also be a night session on Tuesday from 4:30-8:00pm for those students and parents who would like to spend more time at the College Fair.

With the semester in full swing, it’s extremely important to make sure your iPad is backed up to your iCloud. To get help, you can go to the LTC – Library & Technology Center course in Canvas and tap on Student Technology Help or stop in the Library & Technology Center.
If you took Mr. Christianson’s summer Health course, don’t forget to turn in your work ASAP.
BeYOUtiful meets on Monday from 7:30-8:20am in the Lasallian Ministry office. All are welcome.

Anyone interested in playing boys’ or girls’ hockey this winter, stop by the Student Activities office before Wednesday and sign up.
Any 9th graders interested in playing basketball this winter should come to the Robert Casanova Room during lunches on Tuesday to sign up and find out about eligibility, first practice, and more.
Boston University will host a reception in Minneapolis for high school juniors and seniors and their families. The reception happens Monday at 6:30pm at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis (1300 Nicollet Mall). This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about BU and the college application process. Please RSVP if you plan to attend.
Thank you to everyone who helped us tackle cancer at the home volleyball games last night. There will be one more tackle cancer event this month. The Islander varsity football team will host “Tackle Cancer” Night at its last regular season home game on Wednesday, October 15 at 7:00pm. We as Islanders will join the effort of both the Minnesota Football Coaches Association and the Randy Shaver Cancer Foundation. Come support the Islanders and have a chance to participate either through a half-time contest or donation at the gate when you enter.
​Students are encouraged to do their best to keep track of all personal belongings. Lost items should be brought to Ms. Weeks’ office and students may check for lost items there as well.
