It’s the first Friday night under the lights on Nicollet Island for the varsity football team. Students, if you plan on attending, you will be required to show your student ID to get free admission.  Fans, we encourage you to park in the ramp on the corner of 2nd Avenue & 2nd Street SE and use the free DeLaSalle shuttle to the game. If you park in the ramp for tomorrow’s game, you will get $1 off your admission price. Find more information about the ramp and shuttle here.

Admission prices for regular season home football, volleyball and basketball games is $6 for adults, $4 for non-DLS students (K-12), and $4 for seniors. Home regular season games and events are free for DLS students with a current DeLaSalle student ID card (make sure to carry this with you for every event).

Students are welcome to ride their bicycles to school but are required to only secure them in designated bike racks. Please do not secure your bike on other areas or gates on campus. If you have questions, please see Ms. Weeks.
Students may no longer connect to the DLS-Visitor WiFi network, unless directed by a DeLaSalle staff member. Students should connect to the DLS-Internal WiFi network.Students having trouble connecting to DLS.Internal should seek help in the Library & Technology Center.

Instructions

  2. Select DLS.Internal
  3. Select Accept the certificate
  4. If a check mark appears next to DLS.Internal, then you are connected to the school Wi-Fi.

Lasallian Ministry will gather this morning for our first informational meeting. The meeting begins at 7:30am int he Robert Casanova Room. We would like everyone to attend this meeting, even if you are already involved in Lasallian Ministry, as we will be sharing information on several new opportunities, projects and programs being offered this year through Campus Ministry. If you cannot make the morning meeting, but are still interested in participating, please stop by the Campus Ministry office for more information.
NAHS (National Art Honor Society) holds a mandatory informational meeting after school today for juniors and seniors in Ms. Megan’s room, B111. Hope to see you there!
Auditions continue in the Band Room today from 3:30-5:30pm for M*A*S*H, a play about a mobile army surgical hospital that is shaken up by the arrival of two new captains who set about dealing with the daily carnage of the war by using humor and hijinks. There are 20 roles in the cast plus 1 guitar and 1 singer.

No preparation necessary – but audition pieces are available on the DeLaSalle Theatre website if you’d like to prepare for your audition in advance. Technical crew sign ups are held during both audition days. Stop by and fill out an interest form.

Calling all cheerleaders! Come try out to be part of one of the best competition cheer teams in Minnesota! Tryouts for our competition teams will take place Saturday, with tryout practices leading up to it. Don’t worry if you’ve never cheered before, we will use the tryout practices to teach all skills that will be necessary for the tryouts! These are open to everyone, even those in a fall sport.

Tryout practices are today from 5:630pm and tomorrow from 3:45-5:30pm. Tryouts are Saturday starting at 9am. Contact Coach Veronica with questions or if you want more information. Hope to see you all there!”

If you are interested in learning the card game Bridge or interested in playing for those of you who know the game, stop by the Student Activities office by Friday and let us know you’re interested.
Just a reminder to complete your application for the Christian Service trip to the Powwow in Mankato by tomorrow. You can earn Christian Service hours by volunteering at the Mankato Powwow Mahkato Wacipi on September 20.
Students are expected to be in full uniform each school day. Shirts must be tucked in and shoes must be black, brown, white, grey, or a mix of these colors, and laces must be black or white. Jean style pants are not permitted. Uniform violations will be issued for students not in proper uniform wear. Please review the Student-Parent Handbook and see Ms. Weeks with questions.
