Parents are invited to our Back-to-School Night tonight from 6:00-8:40pm. Parents will meet with academic mentors and follow their student’s class schedule.

Students who are not involved in an after school activity should please leave campus immediately after school tomorrow so we can prepare the campus for the evening. Thank you.

Students should be connecting their iPads to DLS.Internal WiFi unless otherwise directed by a DeLaSalle staff member. The DLS.Visitor network will be unavailable to students beginning tomorrow. Students having trouble connecting to DLS.Internal should seek help in the Library & Technology Center.

Instructions

  1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi
  2. Select DLS.Internal
  3. Select Accept the certificate
  4. If a check mark appears next to DLS.Internal, then you are connected to the school Wi-Fi.

DeLaSalle is experiencing a problem with its telephone voicemail system. You cannot leave a voicemail message for a teacher or staff member. Please email that person until the problem is resolved. You may find staff email addresses here.
Auditions will be held in the Band Room today and tomorrow from 3:30-5:30pm for M*A*S*H, a play about a mobile army surgical hospital that is shaken up by the arrival of two new captains who set about dealing with the daily carnage of the war by using humor and hijinks. There are 20 roles in the cast plus 1 guitar and 1 singer.

Pick either date to audition. No preparation necessary – but audition pieces are available on the DeLaSalle Theatre website if you’d like to prepare for your audition in advance. Callbacks will be held tomorrow as needed. Technical crew sign ups are held during both audition days. Stop by and fill out an interest form.

If you have questions, e-mail Mr. Buffington.

Calling all cheerleaders! Come try out to be part of one of the best competition cheer teams in Minnesota! Tryouts for our competition teams will take place Saturday, with tryout practices leading up to it. Don’t worry if you’ve never cheered before, we will use the tryout practices to teach all skills that will be necessary for the tryouts! These are open to everyone, even those in a fall sport.

Tryout practices are tomorrow from 5:630pm and on Friday from 3:45-5:30pm. Tryouts are Saturday starting at 9am. Contact Coach Veronica with questions or if you want more information. Hope to see you all there!”

Lasallian Ministry will gather for our first informational meeting tomorrow at 7:30am in the Robert Casanova Room. We would like everyone to attend this meeting, even if you are already involved in Lasallian Ministry, as we will be sharing information on several new opportunities, projects and programs being offered this year through Campus Ministry. If you cannot make the morning meeting, but are still interested in participating, please stop by the Campus Ministry office for more information.
If you are interested in learning the card game Bridge or interested in playing for those of you who know the game, stop by the Student Activities office by Friday and let us know you’re interested.
Just a reminder to complete your application for the Christian Service trip to the Powwow in Mankato by this Friday. You can earn Christian Service hours by volunteering at the Mankato Powwow Mahkato Wacipi on September 20.
Students are expected to be in full uniform each school day. Shirts must be tucked in and shoes must be black, brown, white, grey, or a mix of these colors, and laces must be black or white. Jean style pants are not permitted. Uniform violations will be issued for students not in proper uniform wear. Please review the Student-Parent Handbook and see Ms. Weeks with questions.
De students – and adults and family members – should always be prepared to pay an admission fee when attending activity events at other schools.

Admission prices for regular season home football, volleyball and basketball games is $6 for adults, $4 for non-DLS students (K-12), and $4 for seniors. Home regular season games and events are free for DLS students with a current DeLaSalle student ID card (make sure to carry this with you for every event).
