DeLaSalle celebrated student academic achievement at the annual Academic Awards reception and National Honor Society induction on Wednesday, November 11. [Click here to see the full program of honored students]

DeLaSalle inducted 104 students into the National Honor Society. The inducted students are 11th and 12th graders with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and were selected based on their service to school, service to community, leadership, and personal character. The selection committee included one teacher from each academic department and is assisted by the Principal, NHS advisors, and school counselors.

Students who earned a place on the Honor Roll during both semesters of the 2014-15 academic year received a pin. Students earned an academic letter if they have earned a place on the Honor Roll for four semesters.

Thank you to DeLaSalle alum, Dr. Tim Capecchi ’03, chief resident of internal medicine at the VA Hospital in Minneapolis, for delivering the keynote address.
