The Alumni Association of DeLaSalle recommends that each graduating class celebrate a high school reunion every five years.

"The Class of '74 had not had their reunion on campus for over 15 years. My classmates were amazed at what great shape the school is in. Also, De is a much better place to have reunions now considering all of the benefits from the alumni legacy of giving."

PLANNING A REUNION
The DeLaSalle Alumni Association has adopted a new spirit and attitude regarding the development of reunions. The Alumni Association wishes to see each class approach reunion planning with a committee of classmates who plan in collaboration with the DLS Alumni Relations Office. This team effort will increase communication between classmates, assure events are organized, and result in the best of celebrations. Photo Alumni Group

LEGACY GIFTS

Class of 1955 Golden Anniversary Reunion Gift
The Class of 1955 Golden Anniversary Reunion Gift continues the tradition of Alumni who, while celebrating the 50th year of their graduation from DeLaSalle, choose to honor their Alma mater with a generous legacy gift. The Class of 1955 has pledged $55,000 to provide support for three initiates:
Lasallian Mentor Scholarship Funds
A new scoreboard for the Main Gymnasium
Special Needs for Math, Science, Technology, the Arts, Modern Languages, Religious Studies and Physical Education

Class of 1954 Golden Reunion Gift
Monsignor Coates Library Enhancements

The Class of 1954 earmarked its Golden Reunion Gift for enhancement of DeLaSalle's Monsignor Coates Library, allowing portions of the library's strategic plan to become reality. It did so because of its belief that nothing is more central to a first-rate education than excellent library resources, which in contemporary times means information technology as well as the books that have traditionally handed down our cultural heritage.

Class of 1953 Golden Anniversary Reunion Gift
Outdoor Field Enhancements

The Class of 1953 gave its Golden Reunion Gift for renewal of the DeLaSalle High School athletic field......henceforth known as the "Class of 1953 Athletic Field." '53 classmates believe the education of young minds takes place outside of the classroom as well as inside the historic walls of DeLaSalle. The healthy opportunities that both organized and intramural extracurricular activities afford the youth of today are as important now as they were in the 1950's.
